i have gained some (litlte)knowledge with python.. i'm on my semester holidays.. so i had some time to dance with that snake. since way2sms perl script is not working to send sms, because they rapidly modifying there site. so i have planned to test my skills with python by using only mechanize module i have done this. i have written this code which automate the processes of sending message from indyarocks. functions much similar the script i previously posted. read the README file in my repo. before that install mechanize module by sudo apt-get install python-mechanize or install it from software center. fork it if you interested to improve that script at first you have to register with indyarocks to send sms

"vi" is not an ordinary editor. it is a popular among programmers. in our lab most of them struggle to do copy, paste like simple things in it.. it's hard to get for the first time, but later only we can realize how awesome the "vi" is. my fav. commands: vi has two modes: 1. command mode (press esc)      in command mode our cursor will point at the bottom followed by : 2. edit mode (press i)      normal edit mode we can type whatever we want

DNS(Domain Name System) என்றால் என்ன ? ip முகவரிகள் மூலம் தான் நெட்வர்க்கில் உள்ள கணினிகள் மற்றதை தேடி அதனை தொடர்பு  கொள்கின்றன . ஆனால் நம்மால் பல ip முகவரிகளை நினைவில் வைத்துக்கொள்வது கடினம் . உதரணாமாக dns இல்லை என்றால் நீங்கள் கூகிலை அடைய ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் 74.125.135.105 என்ற ip கொடுக்க வேண்டும் . dns இந்த வேலையை சுலபமாக்குகிறது . ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் இந்த ip முகவரிஐ கொடுப்பதற்கு பதில் அதன் domain name ஐ கொடுத்தால் dns அதற்கு இணையான ip யை கண்டுபிடித்து அதனுடன் இணைக்கிறது . rDNS(reverseDNS) ip ஐ டொமைன் name ஆக மாற்றித்தருகிறது . எதற்காக openDNS? நம் ISP தரும் dns ஐதான் பெரும்பாலும் பயன்படுத்துவோம் . நமது விருப்பத்திற்கு ஏற்ப இதனை மாற்றிக்கொள்ள முடியும் . ஓபன் dns என்பது இலவசமாக கிடைக்கும் ஒரு சேவை . இது நமது ஐ எஸ்பி தரும் dns விட பல விதங்களில் நமக்கு பயன் அளிக்கும் . உதாரணமாக ஐ எஸ் பி dns விட வேகமாக தளங்களை இணைக்கும் , தவறாக

hi,  this one is a quick view of three tools at instance grep, sed and awk   GREP: grep tool is used to find the pattern in a text file. for example $ grep 'mani' /etc/passwd this will show the lines which contains the pattern 'mani' in it.

This one is pretty simple trick.. in ubuntu whenever i want to use internet i use wvdial. it is a simple tool to make a connection by ppp dialing. i'm using really a bad network.. :( it will sometimes automatically disconnect.. morever it will not make my connection quickly.. i have to use the command sudo wvdial repeatedly.. sometimes more than 7 or 8 times.. so this simple command help me to resolve this problem. we have to use while loop to do this command infinite times. just type

It has been a long time... my rest hours are reduced i only sleep for 5 to 6 hours a day.. so i can't post frequently.. sorry friends.. my university is a good place to refine myself. yes..! thoughts about my programming computers are refined there.. i always wanted share my experience.. but i feared of thinking that it will helpful for you or not.. most of us don't like to hear stories of others. so i stopped blogging and of course having less time.. i have earned some good friends there... who are interested in open-source technology.. very few of us only know the linux platform.. this semester mini project also in open softwares like mysql, postgrey sql i will start blogging my experience if you are interested.. regards, Mani G
